About Us
Bancor Development Group, Inc. is a locally owned real estate development and consulting company originally founded as Bancor Properties in 2001. With over 20 years of success in the homebuilding business, Bancor has facilitated the development, redevelopment and revitalization of neighborhoods throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
Our past projects have included: single family and multi-family neighborhoods, townhouses, mixed-use podium developments, and neighborhood serving retail.

Bancor’s team consists of experts in all disciplines of the homebuilding industry: land acquisition, forward planning, land development, home design, construction, sales and marketing.
Our combined experience has resulted in the construction of master planned communities, smart growth/infill projects, gateway projects, and thousands of homes and retail square footage throughout Northern California.
Our Expertise
Bancor specializes in obtaining value-add entitlements on complex residential and mixed-use projects. Combining a focused vision; the ability to identify constraints and find feasible solutions; and our comprehensive understanding of the entitlement process; Bancor is able to work confidently with local communities, cities, and regulatory agencies towards economically viable project approvals.
We have entitled projects that have required annexation, general plan amendments, and jurisdictional permits, as well as successfully developing projects that included: large infrastructure planning, complex grading and retaining walls, soil mitigation, earthquake faults, environmental cleanup, and wetland restoration. Bancor’s perseverance and optimism serves as a gateway to completing projects successfully.
